Stephen brings years of experience working for one of the biggest driving schools in the North Shore and northern beaches area and wanted to develop a driving school of his very own with his unique style of intuitive teaching to provide students with the driving skills they need, and most of all at an affordable price.
Road accidents and fatalities are on the rise among young drivers and Stephen believes that with each successful student he teaches, he’s making a difference in the community by helping to create a new generation of safe drivers.
His teaching style is very relaxed and calm, giving even the most nervous and anxious young drivers the safe environment they need to effectively learn defensive driving habits and skills. He breaks even the most complicated and stressful techniques such as parallel parking and lane changing on busy roads and breaks them down into simple steps that any student can follow.
Stephen doesn’t believe in a “one size fits all” approach to driving, so each student is treated on an individual basis. Every young driver has their own challenges, whether fear of driving or a little too comfortable at first, leading to spontaneous and unsafe maneuvers, Stephen will adjust his teaching style to meet the needs of each student with individualized structured lesson plans.
He was trained by one of the top driving trainer organisations in Sydney and worked for them for a number of years but then made the decision to move on for a number of reasons including lesson cost.
Stephen likes to make his students very first experiences of learning to drive a joyous experience that sets the right energy in them to move on quickly in their learning process. Learning to drive really is such a fun journey for us if it is done the right way.
Driving lessons are for all ages from school children to mature adults and overseas students of any age. Stephen recommends refresher lessons also for those who have not been driving for a number of years or have had their red or green P’s but have not been driving much on the roads and feel they are lacking confidence
His goal is to teach his students “how to be safe drivers on the road because after the driving test they are on their own”. This can only be achieved by consistent lessons building the right learned habits and a learned instinctive awareness for how to see the road. This way new red P plate students can deal much better with unfamiliar or complex traffic areas.
